I think this is great example of bad day game, because the guy has the "looks" and comes in with confidence, and yet he lacks any game at all LOL.
In the first two approaches, he does the typical spam approach of "hi, how are you, great. Lets go out" Zero game. The thing is, you CAN pick up a girl in 30 seconds, it just requires calibration (neither of these girls gave any indication that they were ready for the close that early), and knowing it's going to be low odds of working, so only closing quick when necessary.
Alex has some good commentary, but I'd like to add that even though this guy has good looks, he still could work on his fundamentals. Specifically, he fidgets during the conversation and speaks a little too quick with few pauses.
As for his game, he's got practically none. Kudos for having the balls to approach, but he needs a process. He needs some creativity, he needs to actually listen to these girls answers and play with them. He needs to learn how to calibrate to the girl and recognize when she's hooked and when to close. He needs to stop being an interviewer and flirt instead.
I feel like he got lucky with the girl with the ice cream. Although towards the end he did start to flirt just a little bit for a moment.
Another note, he runs into people from all over the world, and yet he has the same reaction. "From XYZ! What brought you here?" And then he doesn't really bring it up again. I think that's a missed opportunity to deep dive into a obvious big part of her life.
Around 10 mins in, Alex makes a comment about the guy finally asking a good question, but I would say instead of asking so many questions, start making assumptions. Easy way to tease. Like maybe "Oh London girls? All they do is drink tea, and eat fish-n-chips. Must be hard eating normal food here in Miami, huh." It's like to accomplish the same thing as a question, if she corrects you (oh, no we eat normal food there too) or she will buy into your frame and play along which is even better (oh yeah I can live without my fish and chips!).
One more thing, he often has a look on his face like he's just waiting for the girl to stop talking so he can ask his next question. I bet some girls will pick up on that too. Not a great vibe, seems like he's not listening, doesn't care, just wants to get to his next step in his plan.
What Alex says at 11 mins, I could see being said while also escalating physically. Like grabbing her hand and twirling her, or getting a little closer with some good eye contact. Would have to be careful though, don't think this guy could pull it off.
The Instagram close was pretty lame.
