Its funny, the same thing is happening to me right now. Had a solid first date last night, we really clicked, but I had bad logistics and I think she would have shut down any fast movement because she is firmly looking for a BF.

Walked her home and she asked me to text her when I got home safe. I told her to text me, she insisted I text her - I didn't. A few hours went by and she texted me saying "hope you got home safe! Enjoyed the wine and conversation!" (Personally that didn't sound good to me, but she did text me like many girls who have chased before have - so I'm a bit confused)

Texted her this morning to try to meet up again tomorrow (when I know she is free) and still haven't heard from her. She said she was meeting friends tonight - but I firmly believe she is meeting another date and I won't hear from her until after said date.

Really? That hasn't been my experience. Girls who have had a good time with me but don't want to see me again normally don't text at all.

Now, I know we hit it off and know we connected. I could see it in her eyes and heard her say on a few occasions mentions of future plans. This is bizarre and annoying.

Well I decided to throw in the towel and say forget it tonight since it's been 48 hours. It will be a long time before i send a text message after a 1st date. lol But after thinking about it we are not too compatible anyway since she is a doctor who lives in a condo.

Um... why are you asking random guys if the girl you want to go out with is interested in going out with you again ... instead of asking the girl?

Ask her out again bro and you will no longer wonder. Here's the deal though just because she doesn't reply right away don't worry about it; it happens. Try again a week later and see if things change.
