Had two dinner dates without anything happen, what should I do for the third?

I have gone on two dates with a girl, both of them somewhat fancy places by mistake. After the second date, she came home with me but at the end she ended up getting cold feet. I can tell her enthusiasm hit rock bottom afterwards. I am thinking of writing her off, but wanna give it one more chance. Does anyone have any idea what a good date idea would be? I know chase has the party date, but I cant do that because I just got to a new area. Thanks!

Don't do dinner dates! Ever again! Dinner dates are for serious girlfriends, not prospects

Perpetualsun,

Obviously since you are new to the area you need to take a tour of the place. First preferably by walking ( if it's safe) explore the whole town: find the behind the streets bars, little restaurants, parks, chill spots. And do the same in a nearby town where both of you will meet.

While doing that have backup places to pull her if for some reason she won't or can't come back to your place . What I do is go exploring in the afternoon, evening and late night. At different times of the day there will be different crowds frequenting xyz places in town. It's up to you to jot down

Which bathrooms are open and what time they close
Where are their security guards that could restrict you from going to a seduction spot
Do taxis park at place A in the afternoon and at night they park at place B

When is there more or less traffic? ( You wouldn't want to pull her in a taxi only to be stuck in a hour traffic)

As Drexel and Dude said, don't do dinner dates. Keep it simple.

You are probably investing time that is going to be wasted. If you want to try again ask her over to your place to watch a movie or something like that. Nothing romantic. You set the frame as the boyfriend on the previous dates as Dude said. You have to change the frame to lover. She will probably say no. To change this frame now is almost impossible. If she perceives you as a boyfriend she will not sleep with you for a long time as she is trying to get you into a long term relationship.

Good luck.

Thanks guys for the responses, I am dating a chinese girl and for some reason thought a dinner date was the way to go based on my past experience, but it seems that regardless dinner dates do indeed suck, having been at the receiving end several times now.

Dinner dates are something I wouldn't do, they're killers for the most part.

All you needed to do was get her out for a drink or coffee. I'd say best to move on with this one. But maybe it's still salvageable.

see if you get her out on something low key like that drink outing mentioned and make sure you close her out that night if she agrees to it.
