Hey guys,

Met a really attractive girl through cold approach on my campus. I made it as seemingly natural as I could and she hooked well, got her number, and planned a date for the following Monday. Here's the text convo that followed (we'll call her Lily):

(Thursday - I sent this during our convo on a high point when I took her number) me: hey lily its NBW - nice meeting you today ;)

(Sunday) - me: hey lily howre you? hope your weeks gone well :D mine had tons happen since we last talked...anyways, coffee tomorrow evening still work for you? hows your schedule look

(40 min later) - lily: Hey and pretty good And I think so. I have to see if my sister needs to be picked up or not from practice. I should see her tonight, so I should know then.

(50 min later) - me: sounds good. just shoot me a text and let me know!

(2 hr later) - lily: just asked my sister her schedule, and I am so sorry, but I will need to pick her up at 6:30 from her practice and bring her home.

(1 hr later) - me: ok no problem. I understand - life is busy. Lets just reschedule later :)

(45 min later) - lily: sounds good.

Two days later, I asked how her schedule was again (now Tuesday). She said it was crazy and that next week would be better. I sent her a ball in your court text a day later asking her to just shoot me a text sunday and that we'd plan something then. She said "Sounds good! Thank you!". Monday came and she said

lily: Hey. I'm so sorry I did not get back to you yesterday. It was kind of crazy.

me: No worries I believe you. so hows your schedule look? Im pretty busy until wednesday

lily: what times are you available friday?

I told her and we planned for friday (today). I sent an anti-flake text and she said "we're still good!" and then an hour before we were supposed to meet at 6 she said:

lily: Hey. I'm so sorry, but there was an unexpected family emergency and I need to go pick up my sister from a competition at her school at 6:30. Can I take a rain check. So sorry again

me: no worries I believe you - life happens. hopefully she did well! idk when I'll be free next but I'll let you know

(no response yet - which is fine)

I'm thinking about possibly giving it a week of silence? She sounds like she's legitimately busy and has to watch out for her sister, but I'm also busy. It's been 3 weeks since we met.

Any tips for finally getting her out? Maybe its just a matter of finding the right week?

Any advice on my texting is also appreciated :)

Until the next one ~

NBW she has cooled off. Think you just forget her and move on.

If you had 3 other prospects going, it wouldn't matter would it?

Fuck This,

Dang thought that might be it. Oh well.

I actually do have some other prospects going so I'm setting up dates with them for next week.

So quick question: what's a good way to keep a girl from cooling off when logistics aren't in your favor (like we're both really busy)? I don't mean to use that as an excuse, but its something I've been running into.

Through communicating frequently in an exciting manner. Make her crave to see you again, and for longer.

If you see her around campus be sure to greet her warmly, have some chit chat and leave her on a high note.
