Help me with my POF profile

Most of the time when I message a girl she views my profile and then doesn't respond. This suggests to me that the message itself was good enough for her to investigate further. So far one surprisingly hot girl has messaged me first (and suggested we meet up), and one attractive girl has clicked "meet me" for the photos, but after viewing the profile did not respond (she even stole a joke in my message for her own profile- wtf).
