High school dance

Hey guys, my high school dance is coming up in a few weeks and I really want to take this girl. I don't really get to see her much,other than my lunch when she is with a bunch of her friends, so I could mayb do it in person if I absolutely had to. so I would prob have to do this over text or Facebook messaging. I'm not really proficient In this area. Could u guys give me some advice on what kind of stuff to say or do? It would b really helpful if this could b answered in like a week or so.
