I saw Chase's post here a while ago: https://boards.girlschase.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7985#p37627

I've been intrigued by the idea of trying homeless pickup for a while and now I've finally pulled the trigger, I booked a flight to Sydney next Friday staying for 2 nights and I'm going to take with me no credit cards and $120 which will be in three envelopes: $50 for Friday night, $50 for Saturday night and $20 for getting to the airport on Sunday or for an emergency. So I plan to spend this money on some drinks (of soda water) in bars, and coffees or food, bus rides if I need them.

The rest of my kit will be as follows, at least how I envisage it:
- A thin foam mattress
- A sleeping bag
- A travel iron
- A portable battery powered CPAP machine (which I ordered yesterday) since I have sleep apnea
- Two or three changes of clothes which will basically be trousers, jeans and my favourite shirts
- A leather jacket, boots, matching belt... don't think I can take a formal jacket unfortunately
- Condoms, toiletries, cosmetics, washing powder
- My mobile phone and charger (for grabbing girls' numbers, arranging logistics if I have to meet them later, etc)
I think the mattress and sleeping bag I will hide somewhere as I cannot really carry it around with me to clubs etc. If I lose them I won't be heartbroken. The other stuff I'll try to fit into a small leather backpack which I'll buy this week. I want to look as cool as possible while also carrying my survival essentials with me.

Does anybody have any tips as to how I could optimize my results and/or prepare better?

When asked about my situation I was planning to say as follows: I'm from out of town (refuse to tell them where from)... and when asked where I'm saying... Oh I haven't arranged anything yet, since I'll probably go out clubbing until it gets light... hopefully this will prompt them to offer me a bed.

Would it be a good idea to be more upfront? My concern is they could ask enough questions to figure out I'm doing this as a challenge.

Or would it be a good idea to make up a more elaborate story? Well actually I don't tell lies but I can still veer into grey areas if I really need to.

Is there anything I haven't thought of?

HA! Nice Ray!

I've also wanted to do this since I saw that post. I think it would be cool to do a week long challenge and film it and make a youtube documentary.

Lol I can't believe you're bringing a whole fucking bed with you, hope it doesn't get stolen.

Can't think of anything else you'd possibly need but post up some FR's of your adventure.

Good luck mate!
