So after having experimenting with all kinds of "pua methods", structures etc. Ive found what seems to work "best":
*You have to keep a balance between building tension and allowing for release.
This in other words can be described with the pua terms of "breaking rapport" and "building rapport".
In other words, you HAVE TO build some kind of rapport with the girl, sometimes more, sometimes less. And you HAVE TO break the rapport to spark the tension. Some do break rapport by going direct stating their intentions, others break the rapport by disqualifying themselves. The key her is spark tension.
*You HAVE to get compliance/investment. Putting your dick in her vagina is a form of compliance. Having her say "hi" when you say "hi" is a form of compliance.
In other words, compliance is the key thing in game and everything else we use is merely tools to get this compliance.
We can use different psychological tools to increase the compliance faster than if not. For example, we reward compliance and punish defiance.
So in practical terms, we continiously break rapport and build rapport, we test with compliance hoops to see where we're at and to more forward. We reward compliance with escalation and/or connection, and we punish defiance with either classical "IODs" or takeaways, based on where in the interaction we're at.
I painted a mental model for this:
This is what Ive found that EVERYONE who is successful at this does. Some break the rapport by being very sexual and direct, others break the rapport by being more dismissive, active disinterest and disqualifyers/negs.
However, they ALL mix breaking rapport with building rapport, they ALL use compliance tests/requests and they ALL obviously escalates.
Then it hit me: This is basicly what Mystery said all the time!
I read the venusian arts handbook today again, and basicly in the chapter regarding A3, he claims that EVERYTHING in game is about compliance, and everything else (especially attraction material) is merely tools to get the girls to comply/invest, which she then backward rationalises as attraction.
So this is basicly my conclusion, we had it right back in 2003-2004, the only thing thats changed is basicly HOW people break rapport. Some advocate direct game more (especially the rsd guys), however, they also balance that sexual intent with "normal talk" (building rapport).
