How do i move fast without meeting up?

This will be my first post in the forums, been a long time lurker, learned a lot from all of you guys! Appreciate it if experienced members could shed some light on my current situation.

I met a girl at a concert, we hit it off pretty well. I didn't get a chance to deep dive her yet(a lot of sweaty people, load music, and being high seemed like a bad time to deep dive), but I got her contacts and was planning to get her out on a date and move fast with her then. Here is the pickle, I had a surgery scheduled one week after meeting this girl. I tried to set a date up before my surgery but she had plans that week and it didn't fall through.

It's been 2 weeks since we met and 1 weeks since i finished my surgery. I'm still recovering from my surgery, which is preventing me from moving fast and getting her out on a date asap. I might need 2 -3 more weeks before I'm well enough to meet her in person. I have kept contact down to the minimum via text. Since Chase always said texting is used as a tool to set up dates not a tool to communicate. I want to save all the deep diving material till i get her out on a date. However, I was wondering if there was any way i way i could build rapport or intrigue without seeing her in person.

Should I send her a message from time to time? or should i just wait till I'm ready to meet up to contact her?

I think your best bet would be to just try set a date or hint a date in about 3-4 weeks then stop all communication.

Then in 3-4 weeks when you are feeling better send her a text message and try set up and confirm a date

because messaging her for 3-4 weeks without talking to her in person is a lot of time to be texting if you just met her at a music festival the conversation would probably get stale and her image she had of your may be altered.

If you a good texter you could probably pull it off but i generally try avoid discussing loads over text

Thanks Yoda my thoughts exactly! that is way after my surgery I have not contacted her yet. I was just wondering if there where any ways of still building a connection or interest without massaging her constantly.

I was thinking a check-in text to see how she was doing? I can see that going bad if i don't structure it right. so i wanted to ask you guys

Check-in text or just radio silence till i get better and can meet up?

i just know me personally i would screw it up some how by text

your best bet it to wait for Franco (The texting genius) or some of the more experience member to reply
