How do I open a girl after introduction?

I was told to not ask a lot of questions. But, if I don't ask her questions, then how do I get her to give me a topic about herself/her day/her life that I can conversate/deep dive on in order to build rapport to get her to go out with me or give me her phone number?

Some of this is confusing me. Please help. Thanks.
