How to Write Field Reports Quickly
Hey Guys,
I'm now on holidays from school. It's been a short term. I hardly see where the time went. I spend a lot of time doing house chores, reading articles, and doing school work. Lately I catch myself spending WAY TOO MUCH TIME writing field reports. Every time I post on the forums I write 5 to 6 reports and thats a lot of typing. I write:
It Takes Way Too Long
I type approxiamately 6 to 8 pages per day to cover all that, keeping every report to only 2 pages maximum. It takes me around three to four hours to do all that. Next year I wont have time to throw away like that because major exams will be coming up and I will have to balance a social life and studies for exams. I already find it difficult to get the time of day to write up reports.
So how do you guys find the time to write on the forum? How long does it take to write a report (on average)? I take around 30 to 45 minutes to write a one page report because I have trouble writing fluently and remembering quickly. Multiply that time by 6 and you see how much of a time waste it can be when other areas in my life are suffering. I do believe that field report writing has been beneficial to help me find flaws so it's not something I'm willing to give up despite time restrictions.
What could I do to speed up my thinking and fluency speed so I get the work done faster while still writing interesting reports? Typing speed isn't much of a problem. There are enough articles out there so I got that down ( still have practsisng to do.) I'm sure other persons would have run into problems like this in the past and have moved past it. Any advice?

Hey Guys,
I'm now on holidays from school. I write:
1) A post in " Social Calibration Step Up Series " https://boards.girlschase.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8365
2) I dedicate to looking around the boards and helping out 2 or 3 guys with needed advice that I have tested knowledge and experience in.
3) A journal post for my therapist to read once a month and tell me what I'm doing right and wrong. Yes, having a mentor in person is great. I don't post this journal on the forum
4) I read a new topic on something interesting everday and write back quick notes on what I learned. If I watched a football match for example I might write a summary on how the match went, who scored goals, and how the crowd reacted. If I'm reading an article on " Types of art " then I write details of the art types so I remember. I want to be able to relate to different people so this approach is the best I can think of.
