How do you prevent a girl from feeling like she's "just another one"?

I matched with a woman 10 years older than me on Tinder, and I think I held my own pretty well. At one point, she was definitely scouting out my intentions to see if I was just going to treat her like "just another girl." I successfully navigated it, but by a thread. What tips do you have to wade through these waters?
