How do you recover from seeming noncongruent?

I'm just wondering how you can get a girl back after seeming non congruent. Particularly over text, like if you came across different from how you are in person and she's gone cold, but is still responding? I assume just doing the usual things. Give her some cooling off time, try to get some preselection, then get her out in person? Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks!

There's no need to give her preselection. but if you do have preselection, that's good, If you intending to create a fake preselection, you might lose her altogether.

Just get her out in person.

Preselection and/or breaking rapport is the only thing that's worked for me.

The key is not to be incongruent in the first place, although it does filter out the girls who weren't really interested to start with.

I think people also forget you only have be congruent with them individually. It's ok to act one way with one girl and another way with someone else (within reason of course).
