In the past few weeks I've begun using Chase's barebones texting style and the results have been a life changer:
E.g. Icebreaker text later in the day after getting her number -> Wait a few days -> Text to set up date
No trying to build comfort over text, no maintenance texting, etc. Just the Law of Least Effort
I'm currently struggling though, with how long to wait between texts due to pure LOGISTICS...
As Ricardus mentions in an article, you don't want to let too much TIME pass (he suggests texting the very next day with cold approaches if she seems half keen), but at the same time you don't want to be setting up dates too FAR in advance. The problem is, like any of us who have this down decently, we meet more girls a week than there are days in the week...
For instance, in the past two days (Monday + Tuesday) I've daygame direct approached 18 girls. Out of all this only 5 of them seem eager for a date. The thing is though, on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I already have dates planned with other girls I've meet in past weeks. Therefore for the majority of girls I've met this week, the EARLIEST we could set up a date is sometime next week.
As Ricardus notes unless she's Japanese or a workaholic, planning a week ahead with most girls just doesn't vibe. But then my only other option is to wait until the weekend to send the second text, which is 5-6 days after I met her, and possibly long enough for her to either go into auto-rejection or just lose interest.
SUMMARY:
Does waiting 5-6 days between your icebreaker text and date text really do that much harm? If so, even if your week is already booked solid, should you still text her the next day and try and schedule something up for the following week?
Cheers,
