What's up fellas?
A brief background story:
Met this chick at one of the parties that I had about a year ago. Instant attraction. During that time I had no knowledge that she and my best friend(Bobby) had dated (she was in high school and he was in college) about 6 years ago. After seeing us talking, my bestfriend pulled me aside and gave me the rundown about their whole relationship dynamic or past relationship rather. Though he played it off like it was cool, I could tell he felt a certain way about it so I mentally wrote her off. Now, she's a mutual friend of my other best friend (PDC) so she'd end up popping up every now and then. Every interaction, it entailed light flirtation, following her expressing her attraction for me and her wanting to fuck me, and me brushing it off. Though I was attracted, I didn't entertain it out of respect. This was going on for about a year or so.
Fast forward to this past weekend Bobby ends up having a house warming party Saturday. So I get off work, pregame a little, and head there. Once I arrive, PDC is walking towards the house and turns out, she and her sister is walking with him. I walk up, briefly wave and them and go shake PDC's hand. We walk in the house and head towards the balcony. After a few drinks and laughs with the crew, we decide to head to a bar. I ask Bobby is he coming and he says he'll catch up later so we head out. Get to the bar, and I'm walking around solo looking to find some girls to talk to. After a while of that, I head back over with the crew to enjoy the music and dance a bit. Then she walks up. We talk a little and I go about my business and chop it up with PDC about seduction tips and improvement . A little drunk at this point so I just stop drinking. Next we head to Waffle House and once we get there she pulls on me and asks can she kiss. I tell her no even though she's insistent upon it. So, eventually we head into Waffle House and I head to the restroom.
After talking a bit, I agree (foolishly) to share one more drink with her at her apartment. Get there and to my surprise, my other JW was there with her sister. He leaves shortly after and that leaves her and I in the living room. We drink one more shot then she kisses me. Part of me wanted to resist but I reciprocated, then we ended up having sex shortly afterwards. Since then, it's been weighing heavy on my mind because I feel bad for what I've done. Kind of feels like I betrayed him.
Now just figuring out how to approach the situation. Normally I don't discuss my sexual encounters with women amongst my friends but in this case I feel as if I should out of respect for him. Wouldn't want it to come out the wrong way and lose a brother. How should I approach the situation?
