How to approach a girl I rarely see

So there's a gal I see occasionally who works as a salesperson at a men's store at a mall. Great gal, she's flirted with me nearly every time I stopped by, and I'd really like to get to know her better. But even though were in the same metro area there's just too much geographical distance between us and I've been in a relationship until just now. I have her phone number, and it's possible I will be moving to a new location that will make it possible to start a relationship, assuming she's still single.

My two options are to go visit her at the store or call her. The former is more personal but is fraught with land mines, either b/c we'll be in a fishbowl with other employees watching or b/c she may not be there when I visit and then I have to return and run the risk of looking like a stalker. So that leaves calling her but as many have said here it can also seem a little weird to a gal to just call her out of the blue when you haven't spoken in 6-9 months.

Remember the law of least effort if you are going to see her you got to make sure it looks like it was a coincidence not like you went all the way to the store to see her.

Maybe try set up a date for after work or talk about logistics ask her what she is up to this week or something im not sure probably need more experience guys to answer this
