How to behave if you run into a girl with whom you've setup a date with? (And Worse while approaching other girls)

Question says it all. Worse what if I approach her? Since I can't know until I go very close now that they're wearing masks. It happened recently but just when I was about to open my mouth and she was looking in the other direction, I realised it was her and just exit the situation

Most girls won't notice you're accidentally reapproaching. Just pivot quickly and act like you did it on purpose.

Don't exit the situation. Approach and be warm and happy to see her, and act like it's completely natural. Grab her arm, and parade her around a little and meet people together. She's a girl you're going on a date with that you potentially like, not the plague lol. She's a beautiful woman at the very least- say it was fate you ran into her. Perhaps even have a quick little date right then and there.
