I was searching through the articles and was trying to look for something that might explain what to do with texts from girls that neither confirm nor deny a date. For example, I've had cases recently where when I failed to take a girl home, I would notice that 1) she seemed to lose more and more attraction for me, 2) her texts started to come in after longer periods. The biggest problem I've been having is with texts that are wishy washy. For example, I might ask a girl who I failed to bed to go out for drinks again:
"Hey lisa! so thursdays should work for me, hows 7 pm at so-and-so work for you?"
She would then respond with something after a day's waiting like:
"I have a lot of work piling up but hopefully can make it tomorrow!"
At this point, she really didn't confirm nor deny. In these cases, I really have no idea what to respond. It seems that if I DO respond, it makes me seem too eager -- but if I DONT, I'm not really acknowledging the fact that we could meet tomorrow and she could easily seem like we never organized a date.
After a few going back and forth, I'd like to cancel it, but it seems that if I don't respond, the date might be still on. Do you guys have any suggestions how I can cancel a date like that and perhaps send a "ball-is-in your-court" text?
Would something like: "Hey, well it seems you’re super busy and I’m not really good at doing the whole chase-you-down thing. So you’re in charge of planning the next meet, whenever your schedule permits – just let me know a little ahead of time." work?
