By professional hustlers/annoyers I mean:
little story of when I thought about this thread:
I was standing in the street when this idiotic ugly gipsy comes by asking if I wanted sex in the local language.
Then asking if I speak English, German or whatever..
I didn't know what a bad person she was so I didn't want to be rude and just answered "no thanks" but in a couple of minutes she was getting physically too close and quickly after trying to put her hands in my pocket.
I first looked like an idiot stepping away from her, and then looked like the "victim" of a tentative robbery by moving back and pushing her away
How would you deal with these people who are a bit invasive without being rude? Would you completely avoid engaging even with eye contacts?
But I'd rather feel free to look at anyone I want and I would also rather not being rude, but the problem is that oftentimes people perceive your non-rudeness as a "go ahead" permission (and often, unluckily, guys and "PUAs" do the same with girls who are really not interested).
- street sellers of you name it;
street prostitutes (trying to woo you);
aggressive beggers;
gipsies...
