How to enter in a zone of focus?

Hello guys,
I need some help here.
So in two days I will take part in what is probably the greatest competition of my life.
I have to come out top. I have been working all year.

My question is : how to get into a "focus" mode ? I don't really know how to describe it but it's basically a mode where your senses are heightened and your are just more aware and alert and focus 150%. It's a kind of pre game preparation.

Any suggestions would be most welcomed.

Read a book called "Flow" (forget author name) and "power of now" by eckhart tolle (the latter is a more spiritual take on the matter).

Practice meditating regularly will help also.

Mr Rob's reccommendations I've heard are both excellent, or so I've heard.

Personally I think you should get a copy of 'Relentless: From good, to great, to unstoppable' by Tim Grover. He was Micheal Jordan's personal trainer when Jordan tore up the entire sports world, not just the NBA and he's also trained the likes of Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade, making him one of the most sought after athletic trainers and mental coaches. The book is basically about Tim discussing the mental strength of guys like Jordan, Bryant and Wade through stories and anecdotes. It's not one of your typical psychological books that delve into scientific theories and jargon etc... Tim simply categorizes the 3 levels of mental strength and labels people as coolers, closers and cleaners, cleaners being the most mentally strong of the 3. He talks about the habitual and instinctual thoughts and actions that these guys had and how anyone can use them to develop relentlessness and eventually become unstoppable. It really is an amazing read that'll change your attitude when it comes to facing any challenge in life. I recommended you download the audiobook online(it's so easy to get free audiobooks these days on torrent sites). It's more impactful, inspiring and I can safely say that you'll iternalise the book's content much more easily than if you're a slow reader or don't like reading books at all.
