It should feel as though you didn't want it to end.
Like if you just could, you'd keep talking to that person.
This means that upon making your exit, it should at least have as much energy as before, or even more energy at the end.
The reason why is the same as why you'd end the conversation on high note. Because you want to make it look like you just have such a great connection that you don't want it to end.
This means that you provide value for that person, they can access that value (attainability), and because of that, they want the interaction to continue.
So things like:
"Awesome man, we have to catch up again soon!"
"Soon as you figure it out man, just shoot me a message!"
"I have to go now, but what say we catch up for drinks another time?"
Notice the urgency and upbeat tone in each of those? That's what you're aiming for.
