So I've been wondering this for a while now and I like to see other peoples take on this situation or others similar to it.
A week or two back I met this girl in one my Biology classes. I'd seen her around here and there before I'd never had a chance to really talk with her until recently and we really hit it off. I asked for her number, got it, and texted her hi a couple hours later. Me and her shared one mutual class 3 times a week, however after a week or so she told me she was probably going to drop the class since she was really busy (she was in her 4th year of engineering). Since our departments are pretty different I don't see her around often since we're in different buildings. We text back and forth every couple of days and I don't feel as though they are bad or boring. I also asked her out to coffee a few days ago although she said she was busy.
To sum it up, my question is how do you build rapport in a situation like this? Since I thought I'd be seeing her on a somewhat consistently I didn't act as quickly as I should have I suppose. Is there any salvaging this?
