How to get girls in new york city?

Sup guys - Here's my story (I'll try and make it really short): I graduated from college in may and moved to nyc for a job. I've been in nyc for a month and a half now and I can't seem to have any success w women here and it is very frustrating. In college I was pretty decent with girls (slept with ~20, some of them very hot) and did other stuff with countless more and think I have solid game. I wouldn't say that I am very advanced, but I am definitely confident in my ability to pull women and can objectively say that I can talk to girls pretty well. At least this is what I used to think.

In the city though, I feel lost. It seems to me that attractive girls here are all looking for a guy who is super rich, super handsome, super interesting (all of the above) and won't settle for anything less. I don't think that I can compete. I have an entry level job here and nyc is full of the most successful people in the world who I feel can get a girl over me - I honestly don't know if I even have a shot. I just don't know what to do - although I am confident in myself, I am starting to question myself more and more and don't know what to do.

Does anyone have any advice specific to nyc that I can use to get back on track w the ladies? I've gotten with girls in Europe, in asia, cali, the south, college, but nyc is something I just don't know how to handle and it is killing me. Please help out - thanks all!

I've got two words for you: day game.

NYC is amazing for it. I did day game around Brookyln for two weeks and it was easier than sweeping floors. The best places I noticed were:

  • -Walking on the street around hip young areas like Williamsburg (though in Williamsburg proper you're going to have to play more a social status card -- wearing, if you will, your hypothetical "Members Only jacket".
    -On the subway (my favorite)
-Tinder/online dating is really easy there too, as there's way more single women than men in that city (pretty sure NYC has the biggest difference in the country)
-"young-urban-professional" grocery stores like Whole Foods
-Popping in on events going on, like art shows or a new fashion line being released. Models are very eager to "network"

The list goes on. But basically, yeah... day game. And more day game.

Kick it,

Any advice on how to improve your tinder game (maybe an article from GC)? I find myself to be pretty bad at online game because I don't have the patience for it - I hate texting with girls because it is such a slower way of finding rapport than actually meeting in person. I've used tinder for a bit and had no success with it because after literally 2 or three back and forth texts I ask to meet up and it just doesn't seem to be working. Any advice for this since you seem to be pretty good at tinder game?

Thanks again

needadvice,

Colt Williams, one of the writers for this site, put out a whole system on getting laid off of Tinder. You can look into the program here.
