Hi Guys,

Here's some nuggets on how to get high level people on all fields to help you.

1)Be positive, optimistic at start.

Your mentor is just like the security guard at the building. Quite annoyed that people park their cars anywhere and not at designated locations.

2)Shut the f*** up.

They say attitude is always important. What attitude actually means? You are basically taking people's lesson and actually study them. Get to know why people say such things and whether other people mention along the same lines. Test them out. Does it look good on you? Does this make you ridiculous?

If you want to ask a question, know why you want to ask. You can get mad later because you feel stuck but unless you provide value, people usually won't attend to you so much, and this is often found with people who know more stuff.

IT is not that they are bad people, but they are like you. They look at such questions and they like "reallly? common... you can do better".

3)Be promising

You must want to do the thing itself. Or at least give the impression you want to do the thing.

4)Be relatable

Your mentor are humans, too. They want to relate but there are so many students. IT's so boring to run alone.

5)Try to be a great friend

They say in order to find a good friend, you have to be a good friend, yourself. Sounds cheesy, cliche but true nevertheless.
