There is a regular social event that happens in a bar once a month (it's mostly casual but could be connected to some business). I am a regular.
In July, a girl come for the first time and she seems ready to talk with me a lot, initiating or reinitiating the conversation 2 or 3 times during the evening, asking me to go eat with her friends. I went to eat with her friends not far from the bar, then get back to speaking to other people, and for some reasons, I didn't ask for her number.
Nothing happened in August, I wasn't there.
Then in September, same social event. She shows up again, same stuff, talking with me a lot, asking me to go eat with her friends. This time I refused and asked for her number to set up a drink another day. She accepts and told me we could even drink something now somewhere else. I refused because I was started to get too drunk and it wouldn't have been a situation I am used to, I prefered to stick to a process that I am used to (with a date another day).
I didn't even have the time to send her a text (was planning to do that few days later), because 2 days layer she found me on Telegram through a chan group we were both within (I didn't even remember I was in this group), and propose me to keep talking on Whatsapp.
I asked her for a date. She asked me to clarfy if this was for business or romantic purpose. I clarify this is meant to be a romantic date. She answered me that she have to decline because she is with someone.
But even after that the text conversation kept going with some fooling around and with a lot of reactivity on her part.
Then in October, same social event. She also initiated conversations, propose me to eat with her friends. Nothing changed compared to September.
A few days later she asked me, at the last minute, if I would be at to the social event where she was heading to, but I had no plan to go there and anyway I lost my phone so I wasn't able to answer her.
In November, same social event, same shit.
The morning she sent me a text to know if I was coming also, and that I have to stay with her because she will come alone, without her friends this time.
At some point she explained something technical to me and our heads were leaning very heavily towards each other. Our mouths seem to get very close, but this was in the middle of the bar were we both know a lot of people.
At some point she told me that this month she will to go the a conference in a country very far, and half jokingly told me to come also. I didn't answer anything specific, I thought about it a little bit later but it would have been a logistical nightmare to set that up with such a short notice.
Before she leaved to this conference, I send her a text saying that she might died because this was a very dangerous country. She answered laughing.
No news while she is abroad.
Once she is back, message:
Her : I am back. I am still alive
Me: Too bad, I tought I got rid of you
And she send me a picture of her in a sexy dress that she took there.
In December I was traveling in a country abroad. She knew it. She initiated the texting 3 day in a row before my flight, including a few hours before my flight to know if I have had already took off.
She send me pictures of her that were took when she was in the country where I was heading to.
She told me that I am going to find a girl there, ask me about what kind of girl do I like, about my drawbacks... I told her I don't have any. She told me this is not possible otherwise I wouldn't be single.
I give her no news while abroad.
Once I was back, she iniated the texting again (so this is the 4rd time in a row). I didn't answer after 30 minutes, and she sent me "I know you will not talk to me anymore" with smileys laughing.
Again a lot of reactivity with the texting on her side. Asking my questions about my projects or if I have find a girl while traveling:
Her: Have you find a girl there?
Me: No, I reserve myself for you, even if you don't want me
She answered with a lot smiley laughing and saying that I am sick
So how the fuck I am supposed to move this situation forward?
I already asked her for a date and she declined. But she keeps initiating texting with me and sending me pictures of her in sexy outfits.
The only solution I see is on the social event of January to isolate her in another bar with no people from the initial event, and escalate. But I am not sure she will be there in January. Are they any other solution?
Is it totally impossible to set up a date at this point?
Maybe should I try to escalate sexually over texts?
