Hello,

How can you provide value to a group/ be dominant if you aren't dominating intellectually/mentally?

That is my strong card, but I've found quite often instead of actually appearing as dominant and strong, providing value, I end up offering controversial views, or views that don't align with the people I want to befriend and hangout with.

Then I try to tone that down and wont offer my views as much, nor talk as much, and end up taking a hit in status and value since I am not the one actively participating in the decision making of the group, or the discussions at hand.

And then when I do, I find myself saying stuff that people don't agree with and end up being gradually ostracized from the group, and not being seen as one of them.

So how would you go on about providing value and being dominant in a way that is accepted by the group?

I just don't get it. Even though I am decent with women, when it comes to groups or male groups I suck.
