How to reframe ya name?

Sup dude's! The subject of this might not make much sense on its own but basically a introduced myself an my name didn't go down well. Can ya reframe this?

Situation:
Made eye contact with this girl in a club several times. Good pre open an could see/feel the strong mutual attraction. Started talking an got compliance an investment everything was going well. She asked for my name so a answered an her face dropped. All the interest disappeared. "That's my brother's name"

A rolled with it an playfully said that's cool, most people call me flux so we can stick to that. A dont think she paid attention, to busy being disappointed Haha. She introduced me to her friend but a wasn't that interested in her. Could this have been reframed better? Thanks dudes!

Fuck this dude! I actually believe it, when I was about 14 met a girl with the same name as my sister and that put me off! :') now for a ONS it wouldn't bother me but I wouldn't LTR with it. Maybe that's just me?

I don't think it was her go to, I think she was interested. Just a vibe I got before I even talked to her an during. It was like I hit a switch when I said my name. She kept looking over after and came back an talked to me, said my name, said it was weird and that's when she said her friend also liked me an introduces me.

Even one of my female friends asked what happened there? She was clearly into ya. I told her I had the same name as her brother an she was ah yeah that would stop me to.

If someday the two of you are preparing to walk down the aisle, you can then reveal the truth to her that Cap is your middle name and Flux is your real first name, and she can work through that issue then

Odds are you're a lot more likely to have an ONS with her and eventually fall out of touch with her than you are to marry her, so unless you're in New Zealand where they're preparing to redefine "lying to a woman to have sex" as a form of sexual assault, you should be good just switching your names and never having her be the wiser.

I done something similar with my nickname but using a middle name would have been more genuine as it's a real name. Will definitely be using that if it happens again!

If I remember, you said about age question early on in the meeting/dating process, say "guess" and whatever she says you say "good guess"
but what if she presses you on it, and says so you're xyz[lie] age? do you then lie and say "yes"?

Also, if a country changes its laws like the link you gave, would you still advice to lie about the things that may ruin your chances with a woman, or would you caution against it in those specific countries?
