Hey guys,

Here's the situation:

I'm a 16 year old still going to high school. I'm fairly popular and have many friends of my age and older but I don't interact with younger students (except for a mentoring program I'm in, but they're like 5-6 years younger.).
I use public transport to get to school and back home and there's a group of three kids (they're about 13-14 years old) knowing my name from somewhere and annoying me at the bus stop/in the bus by simply insulting me (i.e. they get somewhere near me and start talking really loud about stuff like my ex and how cool I must've felt when I had a girlfriend and then switching to them looking at me and one of them saying "You are gay" and laughing like little girls).
Stuff like having a girlfriend spreads like fire at my school so I'm not surprised they know that stuff and normally it wouldn't even bother me since it just makes me feel like a celebrity and I know that none of them has the confidence to hold eye contact with me when they're alone. I'm sure that I am the one making out with the girls they jerk off to on facebook.

But it started to be a problem since they also start doing it when I'm talking to a girl and they're standing near us and start talking about me + I hate getting attention from the whole crowd on the bus and get really self conscious about what they're gonna think etc. (Note: This normally never happens to me. I am one of the most confident out of my class and social circle)

I feel ridiculous for asking for advice on here about something like that, but I really don't know how to deal with it.

Thanks in advance!

I guess you can't avoid it but if you do not care, the bus doesn't. But if they get nearby you and talk stuff on the streets, Try to get away as cool as possible. IF it doesn't help, Approach them, and ask them what's their problem. and Protect yourself if they fight.

If they can't hold eye contact, they worth shit.
