"I don't usually give my number out at the gym!"

So I just joined a Crossfit gym, and there was a cute girl doing the workout with us. After the workout I did the typical "So what'd ya think?" to her and we talked for about 5 minutes. Built some rapport, and found out she just moved to town and doesn't know many people. So I suggest we exchange numbers.

Her: Let me go grab my phone real quick!
(goes and gets it)
Her: You going to Beerfest this weekend?
(and we talk about it for a few seconds)
Her: What's your last name? I'll add you on facebook!
(I give her my last name, and we walk out the door, and I hand her my phone, and at this point I can tell she's a little timid.)
Her: So I don't usually give my number out at the gym... (she's putting her number in anyway)
Me: Yeah?
Her: Yeah I just... feel weird about it.
Me: Afraid of people thinking that's the only reason you're here? (in a bit of a flirty way)
Her: Nah, I just don't really like doing it, but now you have my number!

Anyway, we engage in some dumb small talk about it and then she gets in her car.

Interesting situation here- not sure if she's giving me signs to back off or if she's just being a little bashful. Planning on sending a followup text soon and then setting up a meet shortly thereafter. Though, I may give it a little more time before setting up a meet just because of the situation.

I agree with Marty here. As a matter of fact, it sounds like she's trying to not make herself look easy by exclaiming that she doesn't typically just give random guys at the gym her phone number. And, as Marty stated, if she gave it to you anyway, it means there's something she particularly likes about you!
