Why This Matters For You
It might help give you an idea of what sort of "hand" you're working with. It's easier to sell an iPhone than a Nokia. In my own life I see plenty of dudes that are just handsome and I'll tell them or I'll point out all the chicks that stare at them while they aren't looking. Most of these dudes seem surprised. This one dude I knew was immaculate (no homo) - movie star looks - yet convinced that he looked like a garden gnome. I've become obsessed with finding the truth about EVERYTHING thanks to this site: looks, game, social status, work, mastery, etc. I want the truth, yet it's not anyone's job to tell you and most people close to you care too much about your potential resentment to be objective.
My Results
I tried it on two different dating sites and the only views I got were from girls that I messaged. I got zero unsolicited messages and zero unsolicited views.

My average response rate for messages that I sent to girls was 13.5%. This meant that, on average, 30 messages equaled 4 replies (*Note, EVERY woman that I messaged viewed my account so I assume that at the very least my messages weren't handicapping me*). Thing is, of those four replies, none were very serious or bothered to ask personal questions. I think they were just being polite because I was charismatic, a bit funny, and engaging, to be honest.
It was interesting to see that I couldn't get to 21%, which was the reported average response rate for males like me. According to almost all sources it must of had something to do with looks, height or a combination of the two - analysts said most women screen by viewing pictures and height. I read that most women's cut off is 5'9" and I'm under that. Here's the good news: from what I read, response rates for men under 5'9" are 1 in 20 for most dating sites so I was actually doing TERRIFIC LOL! That's almost three times the replies thanks to GC material (and minimal help from another few sources). After all, that's the only difference between me and my fellow manlets.
Maybe some of you would like to try this! I deleted all the accounts because 1) I'd like to focus my efforts on daygame because it allows you to "make up" for all my "defects" by conveying my personality (at least that's the hope- not much success yet there) 2) my ego was a tad bruised -______- and 3) I started to get obsessive about checking my "page views" and inbox and scanning other profiles (watch out for this one ya'll).
Still, I'm glad I did it you guys. This reinforced the optimal "you are just a commodity" world view that Chase wrote about. I feel a little more "frosty."
