Calls & Texts I got her friend's phone number

Me and my wingman were talking to three single women. #1 was cute. #2 was ugly. #3 was too old.
#2 liked me. #1 was flirting with me. #1 & #2 asked me to pick one of them. I couldn't believe this was happening but I also knew I was doomed.
After some attempts to avoid the question I picked #1. She pretended not to hear me and #2 was offended.

Anyway, we spent the rest of the evening with these women and had a great time.
#1 didn't want to give me her phone number. But #2 did.
Now I have a phone number that I didn't want. But I could use it to get in touch with #1.
Any advice on how to proceed?

So what compelled you to answer this sh*t test? You do realize it was a trap question, no?

I hate labeling women, but for the sake of problem solving I'll roll with it.

My guess is that #1 was trying to hook #2 up with you. #1 was probably using her looks as leverage to butter you up for her friend. That backfired and they got pissed off as a result. Hence, #2 gets offended and #1 pretends not to hear you.

Women are very conscious of their status. Did you really think that #1 and #2 didn't know that #1 is the better looking of the two?

Also, don't bother at this point. You failed their sh*t test, so if you have the audacity to use the girl's number just to get to her friend, they're gonna see through it.

Now I'm giving a response based on what I have read. It would help if you added more detail to the post so that other users and I can understand the issue and perhaps give an answer with a bit more clarity.

Thanks normajean106. You are probably right but I don't give up on this one yet.

Sorry for the labels. It is a bit unfair to these ladies. But I keep my first posts as brief as possible to get to the point of discussion.

The women compelled me to answer the trap question. I couldn't get away with: "Hey I'll get some drinks for both of you."

#2 was the least attractive but she has a high social status and a successful career.
#1 was trying to hook #2 up with me but she also gave me subtle IOIs. I think they had a pact just like me and my friend. All the time I tried to hook up #2 with my friend.

And yes, I use the girl's number just to get to her friend. They don't need to see through it because I'm not trying to hide it
