I just started noticing IOIs and question about recent ones ?

It seems like I have been blind to IOIs that I have been getting . I remember why friends , brothers , wings telling me ..how some girls check me out or give eye contact . But , I couldn't notice them .

But, today ...I was able to have 3-4 strong eye contact with a cute girl and also when , I was waiting for a bus ..there was a girl who hovered around me like thrice ...then went and stood a bit far away turning a body language in different direction .

I couldn't open both of them due to hesitation ..even though I had approached 3 girls today .

So, I have 2 questions : 1. How do I notice more IOIs which my friends are able to see (for me )?
2. And were these two above incidences examples of IOIs ?

IOIs are an invitation to come and say hello. but there are times when girls will stare or rest their eyes on you which also shows interest.

There was a recent discussion on one of the Forum Boards recently about this, maybe someone else can remember what it was titled and post a link.

In summary though one of the posters was making the point that girls pick up on the fact that you are looking around the room or gazing at them and when you do this they become coy and avoid giving IOIs. You need to not look around the room too often and watch them out of peripheral vision and then you will see them checking you out.

So , What you mean is when a girl holds an eye contact with you , then , it's an IOI ? If so , then I will never walk past them without approaching .

You need to not look around the room too often and watch them out of peripheral vision and then you will see them checking you out.

That's how I held eye contact with that girl coming from the opposite direction , by the corner of my eyes .

Damn ! I feel a bit of regret now . Earlier , I only recognized the blatant ones like staring etc. but don't know why I always chickened out when I got IOIS compared to when I didn't .

One more is hovering. They will come in close proximity so you approch them or initiate conversation. This happened with me in gym there was a girl trying to get my attention i could see through side of my eyes or mirrors but I avoided checking her out blatantly because i did not had opportunity to start a conversation. Later when she finished her session she waited for few minutes and I also decided I will walk out with her she actually packed her stuff slowly waited some more passing time on phone and we went out exactly at same time. I approached in elevator with simple had a nice workout? She responded and started to ask about me where I work and all and she was visibly happy like she got what she wanted.

yes, as long as it's accompanited with a smile or positive body language.

We all get that feeling as we start to learn and get better - it shows your skill level is improving.

Agree - this kinda thing is happening all the time and most guys miss so many opportunities.

If so , then I will never walk past them without approaching .

If you're fairly well groomed you this kinda behaviour happens so often that you have to let some opportunities go - again this is a shift in your skill level.

Take it as a positive that you are improving - lots of small steps - then all of a sudden you have quite an abundance.
