I Really Messed Up-- Need Help Not Looking Clingy!

Before discovering GirlsChase, I met a girl 2 months ago. We hooked up and she was really into me.

I came off needy and texted her too much. I really made her unattractive in me. The reason I texted her so much is because she texted me a lot and felt obliged to text her back.
We kissed and I wanted to hang out with her constantly but got rejected to do so because I came off as too needy BUT I just wanted to move things forward.

I was thinking of explaining why I wanted to see her so much those weekends she rejected me. Can I remedy this?

The best thing to do is to let things cool off for a long period of time. I'm talking about not contacting her for a good 6 weeks at least or more.

If she thinks of you again, she will contact you. should that happen, you can restart your game, and play it cool this time.

If she doesn't contact you, then you know pretty much where you stand. You can then either send her a very short text, to ask how are things going, and ask her to link up with you. Or simply move on...

She actually does contact me on her own. Like a few days ago she sent me a random text. I agree, though, the cooling off thing helps.

I'm leaving for vacation and won't see her for a while so the cooling off will happen regardless.

I was considering seeing soon before I leave to rekindle things a bit. When I see her I want to explain why I was texting her so much: because she was texting me so much and was just reciprocating. I want her to know I'm not the type who texts all the time and wants to see her all the time. She's inexperienced and young, btw.

If all else fails, I will most certainly move on
