If she's into you will she always answer to ice breakers?

Yesterday I took two girls' numbers. I sent an ice breaker to both of them, and in both icebreakers I hinted at meeting on another day.

The first one answered 6 hours later.
The other didn't answer at all.

I am trying to see things from the perspective of a girl who's into a guy.. why shouldn't she answer?

lol nope never happened to me. so now when a girl doesn't answer my ice breaker text, I just forget about her pretty quickly.

Generally my "icebreakers" don't include anything about meeting up. The idea of an icebreaker is that it just "breaks" the ice to get communication going, so in order to increase your chances of that happening, you want the amount of mental effort she has to put into responding to be as minimal as possible.

Something as simple as:

You: "Hey Katie! How was your weekend? "

This is a LOT easier for her to respond to (because she does not have to think about whether or not she wants to meet with you, especially since she has not talked to you very much) and can instead just respond with an easy, "it was great! How was yours? "

At that point, since you've at least broke the ice and gathered some investment, you can quickly work your way toward setting up a date a couple of messages later.
