Chase's article on preselection left me pretty hungry for more information on how to increase your preselection with women.
I've been using this one liner and it helps with preselection and social value. Here it is: "You can't call me that - someone else already calls me that."
When would you use this? Let's say you meet a girl and you're bantering and flirting with her:
Backstory: Your hair is soo long, I just decided I'm going to call you Rapunzel.
Girl: Hahah!! What!? It's not thaaaaat long. I'm going to call you Frontstory.
Backstory: You can't call me that - someone else already calls me that.
Girl: How many nicknames do you have?
Backstory: I don't keep track, Rapunzel. You'll have to come up with a new one.
Now that she's gotta come up with a new nickname for you, that's gonna make her invest a little bit more on her part. When she comes up with a nickname for you that is special, its gonna give her an interesting bond with you. And, it shows other people know you on that specific level too - enough to give you a special nickname. Which increases preselection and shows youre a social, likeable guy.
She could even call you cute/handsome etc. and you can still use this line, except it's gonna increase the preselection even more because she knows other girls view you as desirable.
Common Replies
I have gotten these sorts of replies from women when using this line:
"How many nicknames do you have?"
"What can I call you then?"
"Can I call you ____ instead?"
When they ask you how many nicknames you have, say "I don't keep track." Then it remains a mystery to them.
When They Throw It Back at You
They often will start mimicking you later in the conversation if you randomly use any sort of name with them that isn't their nickname or real name. After using this line on a girl yesterday, later in the conversation I called her a weirdo (playfully). She then said "You can't call me that, someone else already does." I view it as sort of a shit test when they throw it back at you like this, so I usually say "I'm calling you it anyways."
Let me know what you guys think!
