A night in the historical center of Naples. Strong Italian culture of people preferring to loiter outside with drinks rather than stay in a bar. Saw a group of girls chatting animatedly, me and my friend approached them. I went with a direct approach, with one of the girls (Anna), keeping a side posture telling her "I was passing by and couldnt go without saying hello to you...you look stunning this evening". She gave a warm response but her friends were icy cold, my friend tried and enter into a conversation with the friends but was not successful. However after a few minutes I started asking her about her life in general and the friends joined in the conversation. They were going to a rock concert and invited us to join them. However once we arrived at the concert they started to completely ignore. So basically I approached talked exchanged mobile numbers but was not able to move further.
