So like most noobs here I'm infatuated with a girl. I try not to think about her and I try to avoid her. I know in order to get over this I need to see other people and work on my sex appeal. The problem is I work with her. I see her all the time and I still talk to her on a regular basis. Quitting my job is not an option and it wouldn't be a smart thing to do over a girl.

At one point she liked me and she always asked when we were gonna hangout and stuff. Basically, me being inexperienced and all, I dropped the ball and missed my chance. I got way too emotionally invested and my life kinda went off the deep end a bit. Now that this has gone on for a while I'm at the point where I can't see anything happening between us (hell even if there was a chance I don't think I would take it) and I need to just get over it. I'm just not sure how i'm gonna do this when she is still my friend and I see her alot..

any advise at all would be awesome

Infatuations suck, especially when she initially liked you...

The best thing for getting over infatuations is to meet new girls, do that. If shes the only girl in your life, you gonna done get infatuated and keep bein infatuated.

I'd say you should also try to take control of your mind, if you can control your thoughts you will be able to control your emotions. Refuse to let yourself ever think about her and your mental illness should began to subside. Being prone to infatuation, I suggest that for future girls you should not spend more than 2-3 min a day thinking about them and make sure they are more invested in you than you are in them.

btw did you read the "Can't Stop thinking about her?" article?
