Is Dominance a Turn Off for Some Girls?

It has long been a theory of mine that some women will run a mile if they sense you are too strong for them, as they only like relationships where they are totally in control (I suppose they would correspond to Drivers from Chase's recent article on Social Styles).

Any thoughts?

There's way too many variables to suggest that dominance might be a turn off for some women. Used in the wrong situations or too often, then definitely.

I'll discuss dominance in framing. I believe Chase talked about it a while back. Dominant frames work well, but if you are too dominant in defeating their frames, they'll want nothing to do with you and go into auto-rejection as a result of being beaten. Which is why I think warmth and rewarding women for complying is so important. You can't run around out-framing them every chance you get to prove your dominance. You just want to do it as much as is needed.

That being said, if a woman is being dominant about sleeping with you, I don't see any harm in trying to out-frame having sex. It's a win-win for you. You can always be dominant in the sack, you just have to know what you're doing so you don't out-frame her into a dominant position, and then fail to deliver.

Desert eagle has got it, rewarding for compliance is very important. I was dominant with my ex, and she was the natural leader type .I stopped rewarding her for compliance towards the end of the relationship, I was the one up for too long and got bored. We broke up, because she started feeling negative emotions more often around me than positive ones
