Is going to bars to do PUA unusual these days? Seems like girls come with guys!

I have been running bar game for the past few months, has not worked btw, and I feel like it is unusual these days or something. When I observe it, it seems like most people go there in groups and most girls arrive at the bar with a group mixed with guys and girls.

Rarely do I see a PUA type of guy going alone and doing it, most of the times it is rare, I think I might be the only one doing it tbh.

I often find that girls come to bars with a group of guys and girls and then leave with that group, making me wonder if a guy going there to pickup girls is fighting a losing battle.

You guys can check out my journal if you want but I wonder if I am doing this shit wrong like really really wrong by going to bars alone and trying to practice my game. I wonder if I do it long enough and keep coming off as awkward at various bars, it might get me a bad reputation since I am not exactly in NYC.

Any thoughts on this guy?

I do not think most guys are meeting women this way.

Bars are for intermediates and above, or beginners who don't mind a high learning curve. Guys who do well in bars are great at cold approach or can go in with social circles and leverage social proof/preselection and meet new social groups on the fly.

It seems like you're giving yourself excuses to not talk to women.

Erase "PUA" from the picture. Now it's a guy who's going to the bar to socialize and have fun. And if he meets a girl he likes, he brings her home.
