is it a step backward from an abundance mentality to befriend a woman that you cold approach and date, but then once you go through the date you find that there isn't much sexual vibe going on but you have a lot in common?

i wouldn't mind befriending chicks that i cold approach and date and then seeking out their friends as lovers if the date with the original girl goes stale but is this counter productive toward achieving an abundance mentality? i know chicks like to befriend guys that send them into auto reject or let attraction expire but i dont know if this is a good approach for dates that dont end in sex. thoughts? have a great night yall

You answered your own question here essentially.

Abundance mentality is basically not becoming attached to any girl who gives you the time of day because you know that many more of those girls exist.

In a scenario like this, it's not a step backward because you're making the decision to remain friends, and not out of a sense of scarcity (you don't want to remain her friend because you feel like you've got another shot with her) but because YOU feel like there's not a lot of sexual vibe, and you feel platonic.

You'd only be taking steps back if you remain friends with her because you feel like you'll have a shot one day. You're doing it because of how you feel, and because of the potential lays you can get through her mutual social circle.

So this happens to me a lot with girls i've been working with and seeing a lot of lately. I have basically sunk myself against my own will into the friend zone with girls that i'd love to bang, yet i keep just going absolutely nowhere with them. is the solution here just to keep meeting more girls and cold approaching? i have girls in my work/social circles that i basically switch on and off between platonic and sexual vibes and that is starting to feel pretty destructive considering the amount we see/work with each other
