What's new

Is it better to postpone the date if I'm feeling a bit physically sick after she finally agreed to meet?

I was trying to get a girl out from a week and finally she agreed to go out tomorrow but I'm feeling a bit feverish and if I have to pull her back home, I'm not confident of my performance ;)

I'm just concerned that it may come across to her as me playing games

Is it better I postpone or should I just go with it and see how far I can go?

She's not someone I'm ok to lose since she is hot af and very funny. What would be my best choice?

You have to know yourself and how "unwell" you feel.

You don't want to share what you have with her, whatever kind of infection it is. Hopefully it's not nerves causing nausea as you sound like you're quite taken with this girl.

Post-poning may be a way of increasing attraction if done well as girls tend to enjoy being made to wait as it gives them time to enjoy the pleasuarable feelings and emotions you generate in them.

a good date brings a smile to your lips... and hers

This is actually a good question and I have no clear answers to it

But if you do postpone I suggest the following:
- call her to let you know you can't make it. You don't want to text her else she may think you are just playing her (which can cause flamewars) or think you are an ass
- Tell her the truth (I even told women I had to flake because I had an herpes outbreak and they took it very well)
- Let her know you flake for her own best - i.e. not contaminate her. This not only makes you come off and genuine and honest but builds trust and comfort.... both very key.
- immediately reschedule while on the phone.

This works well for me.

Best,
