Hey guys,

So my uni exams are coming up and all lectures were finished last week, so I barely see anyone out around the campus today except people going to the lib, which makes daygame harder and more time consuming just to find anyone to talk to.
Even though I really want to focus more on my study now, another part of me still want to do daygame because I'm afraid I'll lose the things I've learned if I don't cold approach women for the next 3 weeks. I know I have enough positive experience to get back into it after my exams finished and I definitely will get back into it. (I'm planning to stay in a big city during my summer holiday, so I'll definitely be grinding hard)

So is taking a 3 week break from cold approaching bad for you? Any advice on how to keep your skills sharp when you're too busy doing something else?

Cheers

Yeah what Casanova jr. says, you'll just go cold for a while but not lose anything that you won't get back within like a week or so back.

Whenever had to take a break, I made it (if possible) only 1 or 2 approaches a day; or if no approaches then I must interact with some girls (social circle or whatever) everyday to stay fresh. Basically id try to do the minimum I could do to not stay compeltely off of it.

When I do take time off I hate how despite having the correct paradigms, your game becomes worse and you become less skilled with women (than if you were going out consistently in the effort to up your skill). You won't lose anything you can't pretty quickly get back but it can suck to not be building momentum at any given time so I'd say if you can do any minimum amount of pickup work (just talking to anew girl and getting number and not following up, something simple and reasonable like that) that would be best for not losing much of your skill in the next few weeks.

That'd be damage control essentially; same thing as going on vacation and not having a gym but doing push-ups and pull-ups to still somewhat maintain.

Good luck,

thanks for the advice guys!

Some soccer players mention that they play FIFA whenever they can't do the real thing. Writers would often read good books to stay sharp, lucky for us we have girlschase so I'm sure reading up on the latest articles will keep your skills sharp while on break ;)

Haha good point! Reading GC articles also make me wanna go out even more. Hope I can control myself and not go too wild ;)

I know I said I wanna take a break, but on my way to the gym today, I couldn't resist to approach a cute blonde haha I just gave her a compliment and walked away, even though I knew I should have kept talking for practice sake. It made her day though, and put me in a good mood. All is well. But yea it sucks that when you're momentum is just about to build up, it's time to head home and study. And I'm not even sure I can resist not following up any numbers I get =p

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Smith,

Three weeks is nothing, bud. ;)

If you've had good momentum from approaching frequently, you might lose that for a bit on your first few approaches after your exams, but you should get it right back within a day or two of approaching again.

When you get into a relationship with a girl for 1-2 years and then end the relationship because you're looking to get back into meeting new women, then THAT'S when you'll see some real rust. Sometimes it can take a handful of weeks (if you're actually trying) to get back into the swing of things again. ;)
