Often a night seems terrible. The clubs are dead, the girls are ugly, that bitch you opened 5 minutes ago blanked you and now you feel all bad. You feel like going home. You've had no success in the last venue, and now you planned to go to the club that shuts later, but you know it's gonna be basically dead now, and-
Shush. It only takes one set to make your night. Just one. You need to meet one girl. One great girl, with the beauty, and the brains, and the kicked-back, too-cool-for-you attitude. That's all it takes. You'll meet her, you'll laugh, you'll take a seat with her, and maybe, after an hour, she'll look at you in that way, and you'll take her home. Or maybe she'll put her number in your phone, press her body against yours, and laugh goodbye with a promise to see you tomorrow. Who needs, now, a club packed with 9s? Your night was a success.
Now you have a hot date, or a nice new girlfriend, and it only took one set.
It has happened to me many times where I've only had one good set in an entire night. Now, when I feel not motivated, or I see that the club is dead and I feel like I'm wasting my time, I remind myself, "It just takes one set". It just takes one set to make your entire night. And when you're with that strikingly beautiful girl with the prettiest laugh you've heard since your oneitis when you were 17, you'll be very fucking glad you went out.
