Travel Koh Tao - Thailand

Hi guys,

A buddy and I will be heading to Koh Tao in a few weeks time to do a 3 day scuba diving course and spending the other few days partying and chilling. It seems like a popular place and was wondering if others have been and if there is anything you recommend doing/seeing or good parts of the Island.

I've heard Thailand can be 'Hook-up Central' so I'm looking to try and get a LR out of it. I think my friend is still with his gf, so he'll probably be my wing. (I don't know what he'll be like, but we'll see haha!) I think just two of us will be a good number though.

I know there was the mention of the Full Moon Party and what Chase mentioned about Haad Rin Nok, but I doubt I'll make it there and was wondering about everyone's past experiences specifically with Koh Tao.

I will also look into day game and beach pickup...!

Ah man, Thailand is loads of fun. Are you venturing over to Bangkok or the north as well?

I typed this up about Haad Rin before I saw that you didn't know if you'd make it there, but I'll leave it just in case - One thing I'd recommend is to actually book a hotel room right on the beach. You can just chain-pull girls to your room if its where the party is. The beach is full for a couple of days before and during the party but is completely dead after, so you can make the most of your time by leaving right after.

And the scuba diving is tons of fun. If you haven't done it before, it's an eye-opening experience, to say the least.

Unfortunately we'll just spend an afternoon in Bangkok before we catch the boat over to Koh Tao, so nothing happening there I'm afraid.

Okay, that's definitely noted about Haad Rin, but as I said, probably won't happen. However, our accommodation is a beach hut (linked with the diving company), so I'm HOPING I can do day-game there, and obviously logistics should be good for night game, too.

However, it will be a dorm ( 4 beds, I believe, two will obviously be my buddy and I), which I believe will be bunk beds. Is the top or bottom better?

Any thoughts or tips about sex in the dorm?


(Obviously sex on the beach is something to consider!)

And yes! Did scuba diving in Corfu last year, absolutely loved it! (Hence why I'm going again haha!)
