Late Night Resistance - Texting

Yo, this is a little bit from my last journal post.

I'll pick up where it's appropriate. Long story short I met a girl through social circle who I had Tinder matched but it never became anything. I made a joke that "this is our actual Tinder date" and things went well minus some situational hiccups. I tried to pull her home and ran into excuses, as follows.....(the girl is R)


...finally I leave with N & R and pull R to the side for a second, getting our bodies touching as we walk, and I ask her how our Tinder date was going. She's positive so I ask her if we keep it going for some after-party drinks at my house. She says no, she has to pack for her fall break vacation. I push a little bit more, but then she's really saying no, but after fall break, absolutely yes. I tell her "maybe" in a teasing fashion and then leave in the direction of my house.

About 30 seconds later it turns out N & R are going the same way as me. I just keep walking to my house, and sent my text to R " Hue ;-* "and slowed down once they started hollering at me from behind. We chat a bit more for 30 seconds and I throw a hail mary and suggest we head in once we arrive to my place, but they keep going. Right before I walk inside R slows down and looks at me, and asks if she'll see me next week. I blow her a flamboyant little kiss and walk in.

She texts me 15 minutes later,

Me: Hue ;-* (2:18 AM)
Her: Hi Hue (2:41 AM)
Her: Still can't believe you went to [place I went to school with N back in the day]
Me: hi R
Me: I can't either with so many weirdos hanging around ;P how's packing going
Her: I'm in bed, so poorly lol
Her: But I think I need at least a nap at this point you know?
Me: lol you tried
Me: lemme know when you want some help
Her: When I want some help?? Help with packing?
Me: yea, packing
Me: or napping, I'm not bad at that either
Her: Well I do need help packing bc I'm not doing it currently. But if you were to come to help I don't think I would pack either!! And I hardly need help with napping.
Her: *Duplicate text*
Her: Although that does sound nice
Me: how about I walk over and we give it a try, and I'll leave if we get too distracted
Her: Mmmmmmm no I don' think you should walk over here!! It's a) like twenty minutes away and b) I rlly have to pack and sleep and I'm fairly sure we'll do neither
Her: And I can't do neither, I have to do both
Her: So next time?? (these three text show her thought process, and the thought process of mental resistance of women pretty well)
Me: well you can take it or leave it, I promised I'd behave (3:07 AM) ( I did his for a, balls in your court, and use of past tense to act like she already missed her chance)
Her: Welllll I didn't pack anyway lol whoops (4:49 AM)

I'm not gonna text her till next week, then get a drink with her and do the dirty.

Anything I could have done here that might have made this happen last night? One idea I had was calling her right after she said "Although that does sound nice".

First of all I want to give you props on everything you are doing. You are definitely approaching things the right way, and I want to make sure you know that. I've peeped your journal and the level of dedication you've shown is definitely far beyond anything I've ever done when it comes to the game. You ask good questions and most importantly you LISTEN to the answers and try to improve based on feedback. I think I saw that you are taking some coaching with Hector as well, which I'm sure has made a big impact.

Frankly I think you handled the above exchange perfectly, I dont think I could have done it any better myself. I'm not sure how much I have left to teach you that you dont already know, haha.

When you PMed me this example the one piece of feedback I had for you is something you've already picked up on yourself, which is that I think you should have called after she said that sounded nice. You can be way more charming and insistent over the phone than you can via text, and it definitely SEEMED like she was on the edge of saying yes. You might have been able to tip it over the edge and get an invite with a proper phone call (or worst case scenario gotten here even more excited to see you next week). I'm normally not a huge fan of the phone (personal preference more than anything) but this was definitely a golden opportunity for a call.

Overall though, well done man. Looking forward to the success report next week

Thanks. I plan to continue doing so. Hector gave me a coaching session this summer, as well as a "trial session" the start of this year. I've been editing his Youtube videos, so I actually have my first "payment" tomorrow. Those videos are packed with good shit and that's helped me a lot as well.

Yea that's how I read it. The way she put "you shouldn't walk over becuase a). blah balh and b). blah lbah", during a phonecall you can interrupt her and be like "nooo silly you're only a few blocks west" and X that objection out, then do the same for the next. When you get the whole damn thesis in a text, it's a massive effort on your part to jump over those hurdles, rather than proper persistence doing one thing at a time.

Overall though, well done man. Looking forward to the success report next week

You should have steamrolled her frame and objections. Any chick would rather take some hot dick over doing mundane activities like packing and sleeping. As lostnumber mentioned, she was definitely down. The only problem was that her logical mind kicked in.

This was your mistake. You never let a girl control the line. That’s how you lose fish. You need to lead. Here's how I would have handled it:

Her: Welllll I didn't pack anyway lol whoops (4:49 AM)

Translation: She fucked another guy who was aggressive and didn't listen to her weak objections and wanted to fuck another one (you) before her night ended.

"how about I walk over and we give it a try" is pretty underhanded. Breaking frame right there might have helped.

Translation: She fucked another guy who was aggressive and didn't listen to her weak objections

Could be, she's definitely a sexual girl. I didn't listen to her weak objections all up until walking to my house, but she wouldn't come in.

And what you would have texted her would have been even more effective over the phone, with a more commanding voice to back it up.
