Left an item at a girl's place after failed escalation... how to get it back

So I met a girl the other day online and stayed the night at her place, but did not have sex with her. In the morning I left and totally forgot to take a somewhat pricey jacket with me. I texted her for another meetup before realizing that I left it there, to which she hadn't responded yet. I was wondering what would be the best way to retrieve an item from a girl's place without seeming needy, thanks!

I would give her a few days to see if she responds to meeting up again first. I would maybe even give her a week or so -- if she responds and wants to meet up with you, then you kill two birds with one stone! You can meet up with her for a date and ask her to bring your jacket.

If she doesn't respond at all after a week or so, I would just message her and explain that you think you left one of your favorite jackets at her place and would like to pick it up. She'll likely respond to this message if she has it.
