Well guys, first time this season in London town for a daygame session. I was there from 1300-2300, so a good shift, with the opportunity for some night street game as well. But there were more older women out at night compared to the area where I live, my theory is that the younger age group can't afford it, so slim pickings, atleast around central.
Maybe Shoreditch has the younger crowd for nightgame? I have a free bus pass so once I figure out the bus routes more I could try Shoreditch as atleast in central it seemed like an older crowd for the night life.
I did about 12 approaches (not including a few failed attempts where the girl didn't stop), a bit low on volume for me, but I made a slight mistake of getting off at London Bridge to check out borough market. Which was more or less families and couples.
The volume of girls wasn't great and I did burn a lot of energy walking empty streets on my way in to central.
I also had to take a rucksack with me with a jumper and 1.5 litre bottle of drink in it which tired me out just that little bit more and made me less mobile in terms of running after girls and stopping them.
I will just include highlights
in general, I was feeling a bit off, I haven't been up to London this year for daygame yet and the £32 return train ticket certainly added to my mood not being that great.
Notable interactions
I have recorded the audio for analysis so I know how long each interaction took.
1. 1/2 Latin 1/2 English well spoken girl with glasses and a large chest which was what attracted me to her. 50 second interaction, but I managed to bump it up to 2 minutes by asking directions at the end.
She was 1/2 English and 1/2 Latin. She had a Christian cross on so I guessed she would be in a relationship and she dropped she had a boyfriend in the convo. And probably a bit too conservative for my purposes as well.
2. Eastern European girl (90 seconds) who was standing against a wall, she had some unique tattoos which I complimented instead of the generic "you look great" opener which was received better. It was a standing set and I always struggle with Calibration on standing sets.
3. Tall curvy black girl (80 seconds) at the bus stop, I felt quite creepy in this one, partly because from my experience in my local t daygame city I don't want them to freak out if they are underaged.
And this chick had braces on so I said "oh, I can see you have braces, you're not under 18 are you?" Which put a bit of a weird vibe. She said she was 19 and said she was going home. Weirdly, she did ask me what I was doing, maybe out of politeness but she definitely didn't have an interested vibe at all.
When her bus came she just got on it without acknowledging the interaction. The exact same thing has happened in my local daygame city as well. When they feel awkward they just don't acknowledge the interaction and flee as soon as possible.
4. A seated chavy English 2 set in Leicester square. (30 seconds EST as no audio) I was not sure how old they were and it was dark so I opened very meekly with a "hey, are you girls on a night out" to check how old they were. If yes= 18+, thus proceed with the interaction.
As it happens they were quite chavy and due to it being dark and then being two girls on their own, I said "I don't want to bother you too much" to which they replied "well don't then" so I took that as a que to leave the set.
5. Back at Charing Cross station, I see a couple of sets but they are very chavy which I find scary to approach. I did a 1 set sitting down, who from her accent and vibe I could tell was a chavy English girl.
She said she was out for her friend's 25'th birthday party and I said "so you are 25?"
She replied "yes and how old are you" in that chavy accusatory tone that they have.
I said "you are probably way too young for me, that's all you need to know!"
Then she said "which train are you catching" then when the announcement came I said "that one!" Then she said "better get on it then" and I took that as my queue to leave.
From her accent, I knew she was from one of the towns near where I live and I was correct. I saw her boarding the same train.
I never do well with the local chavy girls, as soon as you take uni girls away, I am a fish out of water!
Well that is a 5 approach write up, there is not point in listing the approaches where they just said "thank you" and walked off.
My vibe was off, especially with that hot black girl at the bus stop, it was a standing set which I generally struggle to calibrate with unless they are an "on" girl. I think she might have been interested if I was a bit less awkward within the interaction.
Next time, I'll get off at Charing cross and make the most of Tottenham court road and those areas, before maybe finding where the younger crowd is for night approaches.
