Well, I finally did it. It was a time for a break from my small local city. I was out in London, baby! It was exciting to be out in the big city again in complete anonymity.
An approach counts as the compliment being delivered and received at the minimum. Blowouts are not counted.
Approach 1. I saw an approach opportunity immediately after getting out of the train station. I went in, did the stop and she stopped. I gave the compliment to her. She said she was on her way to work and thanked the compliment. It was a brief interaction but exactly what I needed to get rolling.
2. An Australian girl who was stood outside a shop, she was living in London. I was quite nervous during this interaction, standing in front of her. We had about a 3 minute chat, she was waiting to meet someone. Anyway, she said she had a partner and she had moved to London to be with him.
3. A chick from Portsmouth who was wearing a boob style top. I like find chicks with noticeable boobs attractive on a primal level, so despite her face being a average, I just went in. It was a strong stop, due to the attraction level being high. She thanked for the compliment but said she was on her way to a meeting
4. A 2 set walking through Trafalgar square. I complimented the one nearest, it was not strong as she was not that attractive. She unenthusiastically said "thanks".
5. Another 2 set who appeared to be part of a larger group or a family group. I saw them coming towards me, thought "nah", they might be out with their family. Then I thought "fuck it, I'm in London, let's go!". I approached, stopped the girl and she replied with a meek "thank you". I think they might have been Turkish or Bulgarian as they seemed a bit shocked by being approached and complimented. As they walked off, I heard a middle aged lady who may have been their mum berating the girl apparently for acknowledging a creep "you need to keep your mouth shut" or something. I think they were out with their mum and middle aged mums are my kryptonite.
6. I had stalled out a bit looking for my sixth approach, I had also granted myself some "chillout" time, after reaching that 5 approach milestone. I was hanging around the train station, watching workers fill a skip with rubble in my break.
6. I saw a 2 set walking from the station, I did a strong stop, but when I got Infront, I could see they weren't really my type. I still stayed in the set and asked them what they were doing. They made their excuses and said bye.
7. Another 2 set, one wearing a sexy top showing the top of her boobs off, I approached her and complimented her on her dress, she thanked me for the compliment. When I enquired what they were doing, she said they were a couple. I am not sure if I believed her, she might have just made it up as a rejection reason. Well, she was pleasant anyway.
8. Stop 8 was a 3 set whom I had seen, walked past and not approached due to AA. I saw them again and was hurting for approaches, so I knew what to do! Regret is highly motivating. She was a tall English chick with 2 American friends. She was dressed like they dress up for night game but during the day in a mini skirt and leggings. I did the approach, said she looked great and asked what she was up to. She said "I'm just out with these two". She was not going to hook. But she did thank for the compliment.
9. By now, I have changed my location from the area around the train station to the world famous Oxford Street. I have also navigated there using the maps on the street rather than my phone as a sort of mini game to take the pressure off approaching a bit.
I walked up and down the famous Oxford street and I have to say, there were a lot of mids who I just couldn't feel the motivation to approach. There were crowds and crowds of people, but not many hot girls. This is why night game is so good for getting you around hot girls.
I did do a ninth approach but can't remember what it was. Maybe it was a brief forgettable boyfriend rejection, who knows.
10. An approach on a Canadian chick who was standing by herself against a lamppost. I said she looked good and had a chilled out vibe (very stereotypical daygame compliment I know). Anyway, we had a brief interaction during which she drops that she had a partner in London. I wished her a good day, it felt a bit awkward, all these non single chicks out today.
11. A Belgian 2 set whom I did a strong front stop on. I think the girl whom I complimented felt quite shy/embarrassed by it due to the laugh/confused reaction she gave. For a moment, I thought maybe they were underaged, but I quickly established that they were at uni. They were quick to say they weren't in London long before going back. Anyway, I used the opportunity to demonstrate good eye contact and practice a playful vibe. I wished them a good time in London and they wished back the same.
12. I saw a chick up ahead crossing the road who looked ok, the pickings in Oxford Street were slim so I went in for it. As I stopped her and dropped the compliment, I could see the dreaded braces so I asked if she was at uni or worked and she said no, she is at school. I couldn't quite hear her accent, turns out she was Latvian, hence the unusual vibe.
Now, this being London, it isn't a big deal. No one is watching and no one cares. It turns out she was 17 so not that much underaged, easily mistaken for being 18.
13. After a pizza break, it was time to get back into it. There was a night game vibe beginning in the city. I had tried to go in for a couple of sets but got blowouts. I see this chick walking past and I am able to get a front stop in. She has quite a good reaction but in the conversation it turns out she has moved to London from Nottingham and she has moved in with a boyfriend. I am noticing that the ones that are open enough to talk back are usually in some kind of relationship. I used good eye contact with the girl and I was in front of her. I could feel that it was a powerful stop. I let her go after finding she had a boyfriend.
Ok, so that was it, 13 solid approaches not including blowouts. The volume wasn't great considering it was a sunny Friday, there were a lot of mids around who weren't that great. I even approached a few chicks who I was very much on the fence about and wouldn't usually be bothered.
Sticking points are, if the girl is with her mum, there were a few sets where that was the case. Never underestimate the wrath of the middle aged mum, especially if the girl is younger.
Also, night game. There were a huge amount of sets queuing to get into some bar, but coming in off the street to approach girls in the line felt very uncalibrated. They were all in big groups within the queue and I just couldn't see it working at all.
If I could have somehow approached the girls in that queue I could have got another 5 sets in at least. I just find it so nerve wracking to approach girls in queues outside venues. It's too easy to seem like a creep, especially as the girls are a lot younger. I feel like security sill intervene if an older creep is caught harassing the queue.
I have hit up a couple of guys from this forum who game in London but they have gone silent. It's definitely harder to get wings in the UK than in the USA, I think.
