Loners and Southern Girls

This doesn't need to be said but Southern girls are some of the most gorgeous girls in the country. Many also make splendid wife material. Question is, how can we connect with them better?

Many of us here are in some ways divorced from mainstream themes and beliefs. Also, I'm sure that a fair bunch of us would identify as non-conformists of some sort. Being a non-conformist and/or loner allows us the freedom to travel, have numerous partners without succumbing to societal pressures, and all the other neat stuff.

Keeping in mind that each girl has her ideal type of guy, how do you assess the pros and cons of being somewhat contrarian, when it comes to more conservative, Southern girls?

From my experience, dating in conservative societies seems to be more social circle-oriented than it is otherwise. Not only are women not repelled by the friendly, platonic guy, they seem to actually prefer them. I can definitely understand some of where this is coming from; my question is more on the lines of: How can someone who prefers being the man cut off from society do better with them? Do we have to overhaul our attitude, or can little tweaks here and there make it work?

The south is a big place, generally speaking, and things can change depending on what state you're in.

From my experience, Georgia girls are by far the most vain (odd given how most of them are ugly) and status conscious of all the southern women. You definitely need a good bit of social status to get with them but the good news is, you can be very ugly and still have success if you know how to play the status game though most of the times you have to be born into it.

Tennessee and South Carolina girls are a lot more open minded, Charleston is one of the best cities in the country for guys when it comes to dating IMO.

Texas girls are the same way from my experience.

I would just stay away from Georgia and Alabama girls, they tend to pay the most mind to these status games.

That's interesting. I recently spoke to a Pakistani guy who goes to UGA. He likes it there. He even mentioned that he stands out, and that people admire his decision to not drink alcohol. He mentioned being quite popular. Either he sees the world differently, or he's bragging to me.

Yeah I guess that's the thing about status. It compensates for everything else. I personally dislike social circles.

Essentially what you're saying is that girls in certain states (TX, SC, TN) are open to different kinds of guys, whereas chicks from other states are strongly social circle-oriented.

That's outside my experience so thanks for weighing in and letting me know

Not the first time I've heard about a raghead having success in Georgia, especially in Athens, but I have a tough time believing it from my own experience. White girls in Georgia probably have the most hang ups of any southern girls about going for a guy from a more foreign minority group, this is especially true in Atlanta and in Athens which is made up of girls that graduated from suburban Atlanta high schools.

Just saying, I've never seen it done but my guess is, he is probably doing well with girls from minority groups and the occasional hippie on campus. I don't see his kind getting with your typical cool hot white party girl.

I have seen it happen in Tennessee, South Carolina, and some of the other southern states if the guy looked good, was assimilated, and had game but I can't see it happening in Georgia.
