This will be a short one since this approach was short. A few minutes ago I was sitting on a bench in campus close to where the cafeteria was, looking for some girls to talk. Eventually, the clock struck 2 and I got up and made the long trek to class.

While I was walking to class, I saw a short girl with brown hair, big tits, and a nice ass walk by. Naturally, I had to approach.

I've been trying to use different introductions than just "I think you're cute" since that one hasn't actually gotten me results.

Me. Hi

Lu: Do I know you?

Me: No, but I do want to know you.

Lu: Why?

Me: Because I think you're cool.

Lu: Thank you.

Me: My name is Kenny, what's yours?

Lu: Lu

Me: Nice to meet you, Lu.

Lu: So where are going?

Me: Class, over there (pointing behind me)

Lu: You need to go there now.

Me: I still got time. I've got twenty minutes before my class starts. My class doesn't start until 2:20 ish.

Lu: You sure?

Me: Yep. So where are you off to?

Lu: I'm going to the bathroom.

Me: Anywhere?

Lu: In this building (pointing to the one we are walking towards).

Me: So. . . has anyone ever mistaken you for a man because of you name?

Lu: No

There was silence for the next few seconds as we walked.

Me: Has about we go get something to eat. . . next week?

Lu: I don't know. I mean. . . do you want to?

Me: Yeah

More walking

Me: Give me your number so we can figure this out.

I'm fumbling through my phone while waiting for her to give me her number.

Lu: Do you want me to write my number on your phone.

Me: Yeah.

I hand her my phone, and she enters her name and number on it. She gives it back to me. I say bye to her and awkwardly give her a hug. So, yeah. How do I proceed from here and how can I improve?

Hey Ken-

I would really work on getting approaching down. Your conversation was awkward (which is ok! everyone starts somewhere, and as long as you are approaching you can do no wrong), you kinda just threw yourself at her and hoped she could handle you, and the number close was forced along with the hug. Don't get down on yourself though.

With this girl, I'd try to get her out for a lunch date as quick as possible, or she will probably forget about you. Maybe text her something like this:

Hi Lu, nice meeting you today was in a bit of a hurry and couldn't talk long, but I'd love to have a real conversation with you. Wanna meet up for lunch or something and see where it goes?

You could also try calling her, then going for a date, to make her more comfortable if you're up for it.

Don't expect anything no matter what you do, typically good texting doesn't matter if the approach wasn't great.

Ken: (after preopening) Hey! I saw you walking and wanted to come talk to you- your smile is very eye-catching. (Smile, let her laugh or say thanks) What's your name?
Girl: I'm Blahblah, what's your name?
Ken: Ken, nice meeting you Blahblah (warm smile,clasp her hand and don't let go)
Girl: Nice meeting you!
Ken: What are you up to?
Girl: I'm just running some errands; have to get groceries and pick up this registration thing. What about you?
Ken: I'm actually in a hurry, late for class. I had to come say hi to you though, what do you say we meet up later when we have more time on our hands? Maybe grab a bite or something?
Girl: Yeah ok, today?
Ken: Yeah let's do today, why don't I text you and we figure out the details (let go of hand, give phone to girl)
Girl: Ok (puts number in phone)
Ken: Great (winning sensual smile, hand clasp, pull her in close) I'll text you. Nice meeting you.
Girl: Nice meeting you!(let go of her hand as she says this)

and you're off to the races. Have fun and get out there, don't let me have typed all that for nothing!
